Last updated: October 23, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Doc2Pet platform ("Platform"), available via mobile application and website. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

Doc2Pet provides a digital marketplace connecting pet owners and independent service providers (veterinarians, groomers, trainers, sitters, etc.). Doc2Pet itself does not provide veterinary or medical services.

2. Definitions

  • User - a pet owner accessing services through the Platform.
  • Provider - a veterinarian, clinic, or other professional offering services via the Platform.
  • We / Us / Our - Doc2Pet LLC, a limited liability company duly incorporated and existing under the laws of the United States of America, with its registered address at: 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, in the city of Newark, zip code 19713, and county of New Castle

Doc2Pet LLC is the sole owner and operator of the Doc2Pet Platform.

For users located in the European Union, Doc2Pet LLC operates the Platform through an authorized representative based in Poland, acting solely as a local contact point. The authorized representative is not a separate legal entity, does not provide services via the Platform, and does not assume any contractual or legal liability under these Terms.

3. Scope of Services

  • The Platform acts only as a technical intermediary.
  • All services (consultations, treatments, advice, grooming, etc.) are delivered by Providers, who act independently and are not employees or agents of Doc2Pet.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or quality of services offered by Providers.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Users must ensure that all information provided (pet records, health data, appointment details) is accurate and up to date.
  • AI-based consultations and automated suggestions are informational and educational only. They do not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-based features may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated and do not take into account the individual condition of a specific animal.
  • Users remain solely responsible for decisions concerning their pet's health and wellbeing.
  • The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or have legal capacity under applicable law.

5. Provider Responsibilities

  • Providers are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary licenses, registrations, and qualifications to deliver services.
  • Providers must comply with all applicable veterinary, telemedicine, pharmaceutical, and data protection laws (including GDPR).
  • Doc2Pet does not verify Providers' qualifications or licenses and is not liable for any errors, negligence, or misconduct of Providers.

6. Data and Privacy

Doc2Pet acts as a data controller for limited platform-related data, including account creation, access management, basic pet profile information, service listings, and basic communication metadata (such as timestamps and participants).

Doc2Pet does not determine the purposes or means of veterinary consultations and does not provide medical services.

Any medical or consultation-related content exchanged between Users and Providers is processed solely for the purpose of technical transmission and storage on behalf of Providers. Doc2Pet does not use such content for its own purposes and does not analyze or make decisions based on it.

Users and Providers remain solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of the information they choose to share. To the extent permitted by law, Doc2Pet is not responsible for data loss resulting from events beyond its reasonable control. Data may be lost, corrupted, or deleted, and we do not provide backups for medical or veterinary purposes.

The processing of any personal data in connection with the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Payments, cancellation and refunds

  • Payment terms, subscription plans, and commissions (if applicable) are displayed in the Platform.
  • Doc2Pet acts only as a payment facilitator. All services are legally provided by Providers.
  • Payment Facilitation. Doc2Pet acts as a technical intermediary and limited payment collection agent for the Provider. When you pay through the Platform, your payment obligation to the Provider is extinguished.
  • Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Rule) & Waiver. Consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts. However, by booking a consultation or purchasing digital content to be delivered immediately, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed or the digital content has been accessed.

Provider subscriptions. Providers pay a monthly subscription for using the Platform, as shown at sign-up (for example, a founding partner offer with a free introductory period). A payment card is required at sign-up and is charged when the free period ends. Providers can cancel at any time before the next billing date; after cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period. Any Doc2Pet booking fees, and how card processing fees on deposits are shared, are stated in the offer accepted at sign-up.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy. Cancellations are governed by the Provider's own cancellation policy, which is shown to you before you book. If the Provider has not set a policy, the Platform's default policy applies:

  • More than 24 hours before appointment: You may cancel or reschedule for free. A full refund will be issued.
  • Less than 24 hours before appointment: No refunds will be issued. The time slot is reserved exclusively for you.
  • Provider Cancellation: If the Provider cancels the appointment, you will receive a 100% refund.
  • User No-Show: If you do not attend the appointment or join the consultation at the scheduled time, no refund will be issued.
  • Refund Processing. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Booking deposits. Some Providers ask for a deposit when you request a booking. The deposit is authorized (held) on your card when you send the request and is charged only if the Provider approves it. If the Provider declines, the hold is released. For bookings with a deposit, the Provider's cancellation policy applies to the deposit. Under the default policy, if you cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before the appointment, the deposit is refunded or moved to the new time automatically, and if you cancel later or do not attend, the deposit is paid to the Provider. If the Provider cancels or declines, the full deposit is always returned to you.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  • No Medical Liability: Doc2Pet is not a veterinary clinic. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat animals.
  • No Warranty: We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation of the Platform.
  • Data Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to data stored or transmitted via the Platform.
  • Third-Party Services: We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or quality of services delivered by Providers or third parties.
  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total fees paid by you to Doc2Pet in the last 12 months, or (ii) EUR 100.
  • Exclusion of Certain Damages: In no event shall Doc2Pet be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of customers, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law (including liability for intentional misconduct or personal injury)
  • As Is: The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Indemnification

Users and Providers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doc2Pet, its affiliates, and employees against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • These Terms shall be governed by Polish law.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
  • The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) shall not apply.

12. Complaints Procedure

Users have the right to file complaints regarding the operation of the Platform. Complaints should be submitted via email to: support@doc2.pet. We will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt.
